The Beatles, Stones and 'Oo, of course, James Jamerson, Donald "Duck" Dunn, 1970s cheese rock, classic rock tracks, anything likely to be appreciated on Top Gear, soul and funk (if I can play it and if I can't then it's rubbish), bargain bin music in motorway service stations and finally, there was this girl in a folk group when I was younger whose music was, er, not good but she influenced me a lot - unfortunately from far too great a distance.
