Hi,
I played in a covers band a number of years ago, playing music that people could dance to. I would like to join or start a band with the intention of enjoying the music and maybe gigging if it works out. I have a full time job though I am available most evenings and weekends.

Influences
Where to start! lots of late 70's and early 80s music, a confused punk/ska fan! Siouxsie, Simple Minds, Echo and the Bunnymen, Specials etc. Once I started to play bass my musical interests widened considerably, Cream/Clapton, Stones, Fleetwod Mac etc. plus a whole range of other influences. REM are one of my favourites, as are Japan, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, some Kasabian, Talking Heads, the list goes on. BASSically, I'll try just about anything (except Thrash Metal.....).

Fender Jazz Bass, Fender Precision Bass, Fender Jazz Fretless Bass. Ampeg BA-210, Ashdown 30w bass practice combo.
Boss Chorus and Flanger effects pedals.
