I've always liked music (don't we all), partly I think in my case because my father always had music playing around the house (mainly classical, also folk music from various parts of the world), so have always tuned into it. I resolved 7 years ago to start playing the guitar regularly and have reached a reasonable level, but feel I've stagnated to a degree and feel I would benefit from playing with other people. Mainly play rough approximations of well known rock songs (didn't go down the classical route as per my father though do have an appreciation of the genre), open minded and interested in different styles
