About
The band were formed in the summer of 2009 when Jason and Craig joined forces with myself as a stop-gap when their original bassist let them down. Since then there’s been no turning back as the band gelled into a formidable writing and performance machine. Within a few weeks the direction of the band as an original 3 piece “Prog-Rock” outfit was firmly instilled and during those weeks the first songs, “Misplaced” and “D.Y.F.H.” were penned.
It was obvious from very early on that there was a connection that none of us had experienced in previous bands, and what had started as something of a hobby and not really something any of us had thought would be anything more than that, it grew in stature and started asking questions of all of us as to just how far it could go.
Although gigs were something of a rarity, we were happy to concentrate on writing as much material as possible in preparation for the live performances. This however took over somewhat such was the buzz that they got out of creating new songs; the practice room was the only home to the sound for the time being.
In September 2010, the “Reformed?” EP was recorded in Cardiff. This consisted of 5 songs. 4 original and 1 cover. A cover?!! Yes... but, this was a song spawned by nothing more than a jam one day in rehearsal that we all agreed would sound good on the first EP. The other 4 songs were “Misplaced”, “Dazed”, “D.Y.F.H.” and “Bungle”.
2011 was relatively quiet but fruitful. We Reached the live regional finals of the “Live and Unsigned” completion and several gigs were played to an complimentary crowd. There is a good feeling in and around the band that this year something special is going to happen. The next big success to come out of the Gwent valleys? Well we hope so. If the bands support equals the passion shown by the band in writing and performing the songs? Who Knows.....We're now going into the studio to record the 2nd EP that i'm sure will spark the start of something good.
