Hi, I am a self employed musician seeking work with bands’, duo’s playing weddings, events and private functions.
I am available on a part time basis (1-2 gigs per week or as a dep. I do have commitments to other bands that I play in but there is still plenty of space in my diary and I make sure my calendar is always up to date for anyone I am playing with, so they are aware of my availability.
I am a multi instrumentalist with over 20 years of gigging experience.
My first instrument is lead guitar and I can play most things from a variety of styles, as long as you don’t need virtuoso level like Steve Vai and require sweep picking and ridiculous speed like Yngwie Malmsteen or Paul Gilbert. I also play acoustic and rhythm guitar.
I play guitar and sing to a good standard and co-front a wedding band (your New Favourite Band, www.ynfb.co.uk) who have been playing wedding gigs for over a decade.
I can also play bass and cover various styles, unless we are going into highly skilled territory, a la, Jaco Pastorius, Billy Sheehan, Joe Dart.
I play drums to a reasonable standard but would say this is my least proficient instrument and I would be comfortable playing most pop, rock, folk, indie and blues but cannot play more complex fusion grooves, jazz, double Kick or songs with complicated time signatures.
