ABOUT

Well it's about time I got of my butt and made it happen instead of just saying so! I haven't played in a band for over ten years and then we only ever rehearsed due to lack of commitment from some members etc. so my gig experience is virtually non existant. I'm looking for like minded musicians with originality and not 'clones' to get together with, be it jamming or within a band setup, I'm more than ready to move forward with the right peeps and my overall objective is to get a set sorted and get out there, play some music and have some fun! Influences

Influenced mainly by Blues, classic rock and old school metal, although I do like to take influence from all styles. Bands and artists such as, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Deep purple, Iron Maiden and Metallica tend to be in the player a lot, though I'm just as likely to listen to Bach or Beeethoven. An open mind I like to keep as this can only enhance my level of musicianship.

EQUIPMENT

Two acoustics - A dreadnought and a resonator.....Two electrics - Stratocaster and a Telecaster, Strats loaded with a Seymore Duncan JB Junior on the bridge for a tad more beef for the heavier stuff....Amp wise, apart from my trusty old 25w for practice, I use a Marshall 150wAVT head through a Marshall 4x12 cab...Not one for effects per say, think they interfere with 'true' tone so try to keep them to a minimum.
