I am a 28 year old soulful baritone singer looking to work with an acoustic guitarist to mainly write original music to a high standard. I trained in vocals at the Academy of Performing Arts and am now serious about getting a professional acoustic set together with the write guitarist.
I have been writing good melody lines but need a guitarist to collaborate with and to bring fresh ideas and to be creative to help finish the song I have been writing and vice versa.
I work during the day but am free to practice week nights and weekends. I would like to be gigging with original music early next year.
My influences are Stevie Wonder, Maxwell, Lynden David Hall, Angie Stone, Michael Jackson (early stuff), Al Green, Bill Withers, Conner Reeves etc.
I have had lots of band experience and am a good front man. Ideally I am looking for a guitarist who can do backing vocals.
