I am a guitarist and lyricist living near Wakefield in West Yorkshire. I attend a college in Huddersfield, and so would be willing to form a band with musicians from Kirklees.

Influences
The Smiths (Morrissey's melancholic, observant musings have greatly influenced my style of poetry and lyrics.)
Blur- A band with both a distinct image/ sound and keenness to innovate.
Thin Lizzy- 'Freedom Song' and 'Renegade' are masterpieces.
The Kinks- I love the Davies' brand of whitty, micky-taking lyrics concerning English life. 'Lola' attracted me, but the band has so many other gems.
Weezer- 'California Kids' was one of the songs to get me into indie rock. Listening to the 'Blue Album' encouraged me to learn the guitar.
