ABOUT

I'm Mel, 23, i'm a singer and i've been trying to get the ball rolling on gettin a band together for a while now.... Basically, i do work full time in a hospital and so the band is not aiming at being full time, but more of a fresh venture, fusing together ideas and seeing how good we can be!! I have a friend, Laura(25,Yate), who is extremely multi talented, plays drums, bass and guitar but is aiming to be the drummer for this venture..... And very recently found an experienced Bass Guitarist in Lindsey, 25, new to Bristol... so ideally a guitarist and maybe more, bit of backing vocals/ harmonising would be awesome. We are looking for males or females... Although i am pretty variable and my music taste is totally eclectic.... all sorts. However i am more of a rock chick.... and i'm talking 80's rock, not heavy metal! Every karaoke i do consists of Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Meatloaf etc.... however Laura has pointed me out as a Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne type as i am big into them, female wise. I am a lover of the 80's mostly.... and recent stuff as above, but also am big on artists such as David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, Billy Idol, G'N'R, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Europe and other big haired 80's dudes, as well as the feeling, scouting for girls, newton faulkner and plenty of others... as i said, eclectic bigtime.
