Hello, my name is Masten Gregory, a male singer/songwriter from Nottingham. Much like my life, music is an emotional journey for me so the songs I write are about love, romance, glamour, power, mystery, and beauty.
Style is of ‘kind of eighties influenced indie pop-rock with big catchy choruses, lots of rhythm guitar, and synth. I am currently writing absolute bangers even if I say so myself ahem!
After my last band quit I'm currently performing with a drum machine and looper in Notts, which actually sounds massive and better than most bands, but looking to get some BASS in on the act.
Must be professionally minded, serious about it and be a believer in great possibilities.
Style and visual impact really important. Thnk ‘Madmen, James Bond, Ingrid Bergman, The Human League, The Killers, George Peppard, James Dean, Doris Day, Audrey Hepburn, Bryan Ferry, Duran Duran, The Beatles etc.’
Aim is to create great musical theatre with some style, and fun.
One important thing is you need to have some FREE TIme, at least 2 nights a week for a few hours. There's just no point if you've only got an hour a week spare like in my last few bands.
Also I'm currenly subcribed to Damian Keyes' Online Music Academy and an learning how to promote music online, so you need to have some time free to get involved with that too.
