I write song lyrics,and sing alot generally. I sing at college and have performed in a few select performances outside of college. I mainly sing mainstream songs but can sang other genres or can learn fairly quickly although i doubt i could do rap, classical or rnb style. I play the piano a bit i know a few specific songs but takes me a while to learn anything new thats complex have not played for long.The few songs i know i can play and sing e.g 'A thousand miles' Vanessa Carlton

Influences:

Two female solo artists have got me singing and playing the piano who are Vanessa Carlton and Missy Higgins. I like a quite a lot of Norah Jones which is more Jazz/country stuff i guess. I like some classic old Jazz songs too. I love my rock music too from bands like Evanescence and dare i say it Paramore and i could definatly have a go at their songs. I like a fair bit of rock but obvioulsy i doubt i could sing any metallica/ lost prophets/ disturbed/ my chemical romance stuff, i doubt that my voice would carry the right effect somehow lol. Would love to try lead singing in a more rock based band though.
