Hi,
I'm new to York, having left my old band back in Somerset to start at university here. I would like to try make something out of a band here, get some gigs, play covers and write some songs, see what we can do.
I'm not an expert guitarist or vocalist but I've done enough gigs at small/medium venues that I'm happy performing in front of people, to a good standard. Me and my old band released a few songs under the name Big Dog, if you want to check us out.

Various groups- the usual... Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, plus the Black Keys, Cream and more.
I'm also happy try to incorporate elements of 90's hip hop, soul, jazz, blues- whatever sounds good

EQUIPMENT
Enough equipment to practice with- an SM58, mic stand, a small Orange practice amp plus cables, but I'm happy to invest in more equipment as and when necessary.
