38 year old bass player looking to form or join a Motown / Soul / Funk influenced covers band, who will be playing tunes from the likes of Motown, Jamiroquai, Brand New Heavies, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Michael Jackson, Soul II Soul, Acid Jazz, Motown plus anything else that fits the bill and gets people up shaking their asses!
After years of messing around in bands playing original material and playing uninteresting places to uninterested audiences and basically getting nowhere, I’m looking to start afresh and form or join a covers band where the priority is fun and enjoyment first and foremost, with a view to gigging two, three times a month when we’re ready to get out and about.
I’m looking for like-minded individuals – singers, guitarist, keys, drums, brass etc – so drop me an email if this sounds like your thing.
