About

We are a very dedicated 60s tribute band that plays on average 1 or 2 nights a week, Friday or Saturday and sometimes both. During the high season this can increase to 3 or 4 nights a week. We play on average 85 gigs per year, and take good money. We have built up a good reputation very quickly and often get to support great bands and artists like The Searchers, The Ivy League, The Fortunes, Marmalade, Dave Berry, Jess Conrad, Cliff Bennett, PJ Proby etc. We are looking to make some changes, and require a very good and dedicated drummer, who is able to gel well with the bass player and keep us driving along. If you are able to do backing harmonies then even better. We also need a bass player with vocal harmonies to be able to carry off The Beatles, The Everly Brothers etc. We play Social Clubs and Community Centres in the main, plus Holiday Camps in the high season. We have a wide and varied 60s set list from The Stones, The Who, The Kinks, to Gene Pitney, The Ronettes, Billy Fury plus 100s more. The Key elements to be considered to join the band are, 1) Are you good, or just average? 2) Can you keep up with our busy schedule? we never need to ring each other to make sure that everybody is aware of the gigs and is turning up, it just happens. 3) Do you like to have fun and enjoy what you do, and be proffesional? we take what we do seriously but enjoy every gig.
