ABOUT

We are an established 90s only party band based in the North East of England. We’re looking for a Rhythm Guitarist who preferably has some lead ability and in an ideal world some skills on keys, but that’s a wish not a necessity! We have gigs booked throughout 2022 but we’re not a “working band” so they tend to be 1 or 2 a month at most.

We rehearse in our own space in Felling every Wednesday night, it’s secure so you can store your gear here if you want. Ideally you’ll be around our ages, so in the 25 to 40 bracket. This band is a proper laugh, it’s a cheese fest and we aren’t precious about acting like divvys, get up with us and just go mental and have a good time! We mash up Spice Girls with Nirvana, love a bit of Ricky Martin and play Lets Get Ready To Rhumble and Baby Got Back so if this isn’t your speed stop reading now!

Attitude is more important than ability so if you’re down for a laugh, don’t take yourself too seriously and are free on a Wednesday night then get in touch. We will happily support you through learning our set and once that’s done we welcome suggestions to keep the set fresh!

Obviously you’ll need to be able to transport yourself and your gear to rehearsal and gigs, but we don’t travel hundreds of miles to play, it’s all mainly in the NE. You can check us out on our FB page, Loaded 90s Band.
