I am not a gigging musician, I am a composer/arranger/producer once I am up and running, I will always search for good vocalists - other musicians that want to collaborate with me on projects of their own. I love creating, but I don't love the technical side. At the most it is an necessary evil until I find someone that is happy to work on the tech side of things. I am recording an EP at the moment for a 21 year old singer from Queensferry. Acoustic rock pop. a mixture of these flavours. One track is now completed - just another 3 to go! I am really enjoying the way Kez works with me, and that is -

'I want to record an EP no matter how long it takes, because I want it to be a reflection of my singing talent not a mish mash of over produced tracks!'

I also have a business project in mind, but I will have to research my ideas further before working with a collaborator - if there's one out there who is a musician or composer or technologist.

At some point I will probably seek for various instruments and vocalists to put together as part of a business proposal. If successful - business will be up and running.........eventually..........you know what musicians are like - just like the spanish - tomorrow and tomorrow etc.

I am available during the day, and evening - but the form didn't give me that option.

Influences:

I have played all kinds of music over the years from classical to rock - but not punk....I was a little too old when that came out.

I am influenced by music that I hear every day regardless of the genre. Films - radio - TV etc. Because I can write in different genres, I tend not to have anything that I am directly influenced by.

So that's it really in a nutshell - I am looking for people that would be interested in recording some material for a specific purpose.

Roland JV 90 - Roland E 86 - Roland E 35, Roland SMPTE .....that is sitting collecting dust because I don't know how to use it! I have an apple ibook G4, Top of the range Dell, Alesis Mark 1 M2 studio monitors, a Tascam 2488 24 track digital studio, an AKG mike and boom stand a violin, an electric mandolin, an Epiphone SG electric guitar a Zoom G21u effects pedal,a bass guitar, a rubber drum practise kit,and a spanish acoustic. Lots of software, reams and reams of cables (Charlottes Web got nothing on us!)A very large collection of SOS and other mags. 5 tin whistles - 2 mouthorgans and a kazoo!but we seem to be clean out of Izal toilet paper.......oooh, perish the thought.......maybe your too young to know what I'm talking about but you didn't miss out on Izol I can tell you!
