ABOUT

I have a band, and several projects. Former multi instrumentalist, though am now fronting most projects and emphasis on vocals. I’m unlikely to get singers ego as have always been a team player.
I work on globally using the Internet. Touring experience, tour management experience and recorded albums out and being made. What I don’t have is local musicians to jam with. It’s hard to gig with my band when we’re based in different countries. I’d like to find musicians locally, to jam with and join my main band. The band has featured on a large collaboration though yet to release first full album- that’s a goal- looking for people who want to join in, bring in ideas and come along for the ride.
Also I’m always up for experience, and am high energy as a vocalist and lyricist. I miss live shows, so whilst I am seeking musicians for my own band to gig live, I’d be happy to join, and be a solid member of a local band as a front woman.
Please don’t be intimidated by experience- we all start somewhere and it’s more of an asset in knowing how to and helping others to get it right through a lot of experiences which perhaps haven’t been as positive as many may presume some level of success to be. I’m still learning and evolving, and frankly miss the days of being in a jam room with others making music.
The internet is a brilliant tool, though recording from isolation, sharing online and open source music making lacks that element of bouncing off each other with ideas in real time and direct experience, which is what any musician needs to develop and bands need to be tight as a live band. I’m in Bridgend area, tend to use practice rooms in Cardiff. Drummers, guitarists, bassists and enthusiasts of all ages and levels please get in touch. If you have enthusiasm and commitment my huge strength is bringing out potential in budding musicians and helping bring out performances people didn’t know they had in them. Also, if you are a band who need an energetic vocalist to bring it live and in studio likely you’ve found the person you’re looking for.

Ask me next week answers may vary.

Can’t realy offer heavy bands with female vocalists, my style is far from Arch Enemny- sure I can roar, more melodic though, have perhaps 5 delivery styles and try to avoid influences vocally as I don’t want to be a mimmick of other vocalists. Been told sound like Eva O, and a few others- don’t actually know who they are- and that’s one opinion based on one song.
