<3 (Pronounced Less than Three) have been performing for a little under 6 months. The band consists currently of 4 members, Jai Wake (Lead Vox, Rythm Guitar) Jay Greenwood (Bass, Backing Vox) Andrew Speed (Lead Guitar, Co-Vox) Kevin Speed (Drums). Although we have only been playing together for 6 months as <3 Jai and Jay played together for 2 years as members of Rejected By Society, and as Aquapunks for 6 months, andy and Kev played as part of elise for 2 years 6 months of which they were joined by Jai. (for 2 seperate runs of about 3 months each) Jai has also had 3 years experience as front man of Arsenic, and has a years of experience as bassist and frontman to Black Hundreds.
We are looking for a female vocalist to add some texture to the vocal mix, however we are also looking for brass players and dont want to introduce 2 many new people to the mix. So we ideally would be joined by a female singer/brass player. It would also be useful (Although not nessacery) if the candidate could play multiple brass instruments (Or Saxophone and a brass instrument) and possibly either keys or guitar (maybe even both but i realise that would take some kind of super musicician so and were asking a lot already) and ideally would have a basic understanding of music theory. We have a large amount of material already written and we are beggining to record a rough demo without any brass tracks. Although brass parts have already been written for a lot of our material.We currently have an excess of material as Jai, Jay and Andy were the key songwriters in all the afore mentioned bands and so we are using the material as we own all the rights.

All members have there own equipment, and Jai owns a basic recording set-up more than substantial for recording demos. (Jai is also studying Music Production and is Producing all our material himself)
