Lizzie Sykes is an up and coming singer songwriter; she has been writing and performing songs since the age of eight. Now twenty one she is an experienced performer as well as an accomplished song-writer with lots of experience in a live environment as well as in the recording studio.
Lizzie has always had a passion for performance and has never looked more at home than when she has a mic in her hand and a stage at her feet. Lizzie has always sang in cover bands but has had a burning desire to write and perform her own material. Her self funded debut album "Scent Of Nostalgia" is now available on CD. Lizzie has unique style of writing which she has drawn from her wild experiences whilst trotting the globe. She says her songs are depicted from her life ethic which she calls the 3 L's learning, loving and living which are all perfectly portrayed in the songs from the album. Lizzie has made guest vocals on labels such as cafe del mar and the Choonz but is always drawn back to her one true passion of writing and the rawness of live performance. Music is her lesson, her life...her love.
