I need a band to release my creative energy with, to write great songs, release them to the world and inspire like I've been inspired by others.
I'm a young 26. I've played bass for 14 years and performed/recorded/produced/written music for as many. I have vocal experience but prefer to concentrate on bass and harmonies.
There is no specific band I want to follow the style of but I want to avoid the typical metal genre's and create something with more of a songs about life feeling, songs with meaning and depth. I'd like to be able to take our band to the streets at times acoustically... Think group harmonies, acoustic guitars, drum box and an upright bass.
Again I have no particular genre direction I want to follow, I just want to bring a group of talented musicians together I see what comes out of it. I should make it clear that I'd prefer to avoid metal, Its not that I'm not a fan of the genre but I am trying to start something original here.
I have a place in mind for practice in Gloucester 2x times a week but am currently looking for somewhere better.
The minimum needed is guitar and drums both with vocal abilities but all instruments have a place here.

I'm inspired by but in no means bound by such artists as James Blake, Half Moon Run, Little Dragon, SOHN, Incubus, Tame Impala, Noah Gundersen, Bright Eyes, Sub Focus, Death Cab for Cutie, The Avett Brothers, First Aid Kit, Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, The Spill Canvas... they're just off the top of my head.
