Lets ditch the long winded band summaries! we're essentially an acoustic pop band! our influences stretch from Morrissey to Mcfly and our music pretty much reflects that.

Kid October.....

Starting out in early 2007, Kid October was born as an acoustic duo, with Danny and Josh playing covers of The Fray in their bedrooms. As a twosome, Kid October played a few gigs before eventually scaling the dizzy heights of Guisley Festival! However, there was a void in the band that only the smooth, impressionable jazz stylings of Tom on piano could fill. From here on in the possiblilties seemed endless for a threesome destined for success. During late 07, KidOctober began to make many friends in the local music scene, including D'Nile, Desilva, Joseph Dunwell and Hannah Wilson. Playing with these guys helped and influenced the band and some KO originals began to appear on the scene. After many months of creating what can only be described as melodramatic popular culture, the decision was made to bring in one of the top young drummers in the country. Unfortunately, none of those were available so we brought Joe in instead. This brings us to the summer of 2008, which hopefully is going to be massive for KidOctober, with the launch of the EP and album coming soon...
