ARE You a Keys person looking to play out for a bit of fun, maybe more ?

We are a York based band of 40+ age group who got together to play for fun, ( we are all experienced and have all been in bands before). Anyway, it's backfired on us ! Damn me, folks want to pay US MONEY to play for them, we got bookings comming down the phone, this was not part of the business plan !

SO, time for a quick rethink, and we have decided that we need a versatile KEYBOARD player. Organ /Piano Synth - whatever.
SOO, if you are sitting at home with a stack of keyboards and wishing you could get out and show your stuff, maybe you should be answering this ad ?? You DON'T have to pro standard, and if you are a bit rusty, that's OK too, we are happy to work with you to get you up to speed.
If you can handle some backing vocals, so much the better, and if you can do some lead vocals we will buy you beer ! (jus kidding)

An outrageous sense of humour and easy attitude is way more important than musical ability at this point in time, but we are serious and will expect you to be able to practise once a week, EVERY week.

Just to be clear, we are just starting out, and things are very promising, but we are not playing every week and this is only for fun at the moment, however, we want to play out as much as possible, so you will have the chance to grow with us if you are on board now.

Influences

Some 50's covers, some 60's cover's, a lil bit' o' country and a healthy chunk of rock n' roll.
We do not do Heavy rock or Classic Rock, but we are quite capable if the need arose.
We will constantly revise our set list in the future.
