Hi everyone, I'm Kate! I'm a drummer from Burton Joyce in Nottinghamshire. A few years ago I was touring extensively across UK/Ireland/Europe with a punk/rock band. I've had the privilege of working with professional musicians at a high level, including gigs on the Main Stage at The Isle of Wight festival, Silverstone Grand Prix and numerous festivals and O2 venues. I have recently relocated from London back to where I grew up, working full time and now looking to join a band of nice people who are committed to having fun and creating a great sound. I think a charismatic front person is really important. I'm happy playing covers, but also happy to be creative in writing new music if the opportunity arrises. I can play to click, but prefer not to! I can cover most styles but feel most excited by blues, rock, funk, swing, pop. Not looking for anything too heavy, not a double pedal player. I have my own car and equipment.
