ABOUT

I'm looking to form a symphonic power metal band, in the vein of bands such as those listed in my influences (but not limited to those of course)

I'm a keyboardist, rhythm guitarist (some lead, but can't really shred much) and bassist, looking to work on my vocals too (more for backing than anything), I'm quite happy to fulfil any of these roles in a band depending on who I can find to fill the rest of the line-up, no preference really to what I play as long as I can get a band going. Roles that would need filling are vocals, guitar (maybe x2), bass, keyboard, drums, and anything else like violin, cello, etc is also welcome to fill out the sound and make things a bit different.

I'm not an 'expert' at any of these instruments, but I can play, and we're all always learning after all.
If you're interested its worth noting, I'm not too fussed about what level of playing you're at, be it beginner or expert, as long as you're not like, tone deaf or anything, as long as you know your way at least basically around your instrument, and are not the sort of person who is put off by the talent (or lack of) of others in the band, then we're good to go, massive egos and divas aren't welcome (nor junkies), shouldn't think thats too much to ask :p
Also, I'll take this as seriously as it needs to be taken really, quite happy to just jam and write some songs for the fun of it, but if gigging and going to the next level become a possibility, I'm all for it, never had a chance to play live before so I'd love to get the chance to.

In terms of the genre/style, I am welcome to other influences in the interest of creating something more original than just another generic power metal band, so if you're influences are different but you're still interested in playing this type of music in general, thats no problem at all, but primarily I'd like to stick to the genre on a base level.

If this all sounds good to you, drop me a message.
