Energetic, confident and reliable keys/piano player required

We’re Jump: Press A and we’re currently looking for a keys player to complete our line up. We play ‘angry pop’ music.... that’ll make more sense when you hear us. You can check us out at myspace/jumppressa or /jumppressa.

We’re looking for a keys player who is probably at least around grade 5/6 standard, can handle playing some prescribed parts but is also confident and competent enough to be able to bring their own thing to the band too. Not all the tunes require epic piano though so you’d also have to be comfortable just playing chords and adding a bit of texture.

We tend to practice twice a week and like to gig as often as we can so we’d like you to be able to commit to that (and contribute to the cost involved) and to generally be willing to help out with other band related stuff. We also like to put on a bit of a performance so a good live energy is really important to us too.

We’ve been played by Vic Galloway, Jim Gellatly and have been on a load of podcasts. This year we won a battle of the bands and have played headline slots at the Leith Festival and at The Amnesty Bash on Lismore island.
