Hi. I have a recently formed jazz quartet Collective Calm. We are vocals (me), piano and bass, but drums only optionally if we play a suitable venue. We are all fairly seasoned players - I've been singing jazz for 20 years or so and I'm also in a 7 piece. The idea of Collective Calm is to play mellow jazz or non-jazz numbers in a jazzy way. So we do for example some Dusty, Norah Jones, Sade and some Jobim latin numbers. The intention is to play restaurants and bars, rather than functions.
