I'm a Bristol-based drummer looking for music projects and gigs. I am also available for busking (e.g. with a sax player). I'm 24 and have just finished studying physics at Exeter. My background includes:
- Playing with the Exeter Uni Jazz Orchestra and Bournemouth Uni Big Band
- Achieving grade 8 with distinction at age 11
- Top 10 for Young Drummer of the Year 2012
- Tons of experience gigging in serious cover bands
- Toured Europe with a tenor player, busking in cities
My style preference is jazz/Latin/funk/afro, but I like to play most things! A Chris Potter or Snarky Puppy style collective would be awesome. I also like to get experimental with electronic music such as jungle and enjoy fast-paced and highly syncopated rhythms. I am a sensitive and mature player and aim to optimize the overall feel and quality of the band rather than overplay or show off.
I can drive and have a small drum kit (Sonor Martini).
