Guitarist.
Been playing for about ten years. Electric and acoustic, lead and rhythm. I am talented and dedicated. I can read music, and play almost anything by ear. I am an excellent backing-vocalist. I can also play the piano (grade 8!!!). I can therefore also basically play keyboards, although I'm not interested in (or at all experienced with) fancy synthesizers and patches and all that nonsense.
Looking to form or join a mainly-covers band or just meet like-minded musicians and jam. Almost any style considered. Not Country though. Will write one day, some riffs and chords already coming together, but would like more experience first.

Influences:

Mainly Brian May and Eddie Van Halen, but little bits from everywhere. I basically learnt to play by copying loads of people, monkey see...
My favourite bands are Queen, Muse, Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead, and I also like Van Halen, Rush, David Bowie, Elton John, ELO, Wheatus, Cream, The Darkness, Bon Jovi, Guns 'n' Roses, Blur and loads more.

Equipment List:

I use an American Strat and a Yamaha acoustic.
When I say I can play keyboards, I don't actually have any of my own; nor does my ability to sing backup mean I actually own any mics. Guitar gear I am fine with, of course.
