I am very committed to achieving a very authentic Hendrix sound - that means tone/rhythm/phrasing & all the subtle nuances. My aim has been to replicate that indescribable freedom & energy that Hendrix conveys in his playing - not merely the ability to just cover a song. I have been playing a couple of years - and a few Hendrix lovers have told me I've really nailed it. I practice every night for 2 hours but I am still starting out & need experience playing with other musicians - especially anyone that appreciates a really authentic sound. I've not worked on vocals much yet.
