ABOUT

I am a songwriter/musician in the Leicester area looking to get together with one or more people to put together a folk group for regular gigs in pubs and bars around town. I play a good range of instruments, but am currently focusing on mandolin as my instrument of choice. At the moment I'm specializing in Irish and English folk reels and so forth. Ideally I'm looking for an acoustic guitarist to keep up the backing chords, but anyone who's talented and interested in getting involved is welcome whatever instrument you play.

Alternatively, I'm also interested in recruiting a bass guitarist or acoustic guitarist to join me for a set of comedy songs I have written. These include the two I've uploaded to this profile.

Too many to list. Let's just say folk and comedy in general.

EQUIPMENT

Not much electrical equipment, but plenty of guitars, basses and mandolins hanging around. I have a solid bass amp that needs a little fixing, but other than that I tend to just play acoustic.
