Hi, Im Jonas,
I came to England from Norway three years ago. The scene of music in England is great and Im open to play in any bands as long as there is commitment and open to experiment. I am going back to Norway to work during the summer from June to September, But I am looking for some commitment, If i know you are interested, then I will make an effort to stay
I started getting into music when I got my first guitar at 14 years old, I got into a Metallica cover band when I was 16 years old, which was fun. Then after a year or two we started to write originals with the rock influences we got, turning more metall after a while.
In my early twenties I changed the way I wrote music and began to listen to more pop-rock, blues, acoustic, ambient electric music and got my self a good acoustic guitar, then moving away from the heavy stuff a bit, I still like It, because it has been a huge influence some times. So these are my roots.
Vocalist: I have always song my own songs and been a song writer. In bands I have done everything from screaming to power vocals and more blues and jazzy influences. I also like doing backing vocals and harmonies if possible.
Studied 1 year rock music In the middle of Norway.
Studied 1 year foundation: Popular music and sound technology (LIPA).

EQUIPMENT
I usually use a american strat and a boss - multi-FX pedal, Gt 100, 2015 mdl. I also have a Yamaha APX700 II Electro-Acoustic that I use a lot. For more rock and heavier sounds I use an Ibanez E.R.G.U.D.Y.N.E. I have an Interface so I have the possiblity to record parts at home
