Ongoing Virtual Project. First started in lockdown to pass the time, this is a virtual 'band' project where people send each other Wav files/Mp3's and they become complete songs. Vocals, male or female, are needed for some of the songs. The tracks, as instrumentals, are on Soundcloud as 2678 prov and the idea is that anyone can listen to them (through headphones) whilst recording their vocals, even if it's into their phone, then email them as a Sound File (Wav or Mp3) to be used in the finished mix. All the music will then be uploaded onto our purpose made website built by a professional Web Designer. We've been having a lot of fun with this but vocals are the thing that we're running short of. All the music is copyright but permission will be given for free, on request if anyone wants to use it. This is a non-profit/non-monetised project in the spirit of 'old fashioned' camaraderie with the emphasis being more on creative endeavour than anything else.
Vocals recorded on a mobile phone will be good enough to use (as we can clean them up with the DAW, including auto-tune) but try not to record any of the instrumental track (hence the headphones) onto your Sound File. Like I say, this is just for fun but the tunes will end up 'out there' and the website will be promoted and available to all. Full credit will be given to anyone sending vocals or music alike. Amateurs and novices welcome. Be as inventive as you like (i.e. mad lyrics, spoken word/poetry, rap, freestyle, robot voices etc. etc.)
