Long Time Ago -> Present, Lead Vocalist and Bass Player always been in working band/regular gigs since leaving school. Now have 4500+ gigs under my belt! (TRUE)! Wide variety of jobs, (Pubs, Clubs, Small Festivals, Ten years living and gigging regularily in other countries, some recording studio work.) Most of the above is Rock & Pop based and I still love quality power rock and harmony based material that rocks to this day! Also, still as hungry for the 'right' originals-based band/project as I always have been (maybe more so) and have been into music for the love of music and no other reason since I was a wee nipper. Also, have always been up for a dep/stand-in at short notice - (keeps me on my toes - (If Ive heard it, I can usually play it). You've probably guessed Ive no ties or commitments that would compromise a musical venture and thats still the case.

Influences:

Influences are VARIED but mainly:-John Entwistle, Chris Squire & Geddy Lee for bass and Robert Plant, Doobies & Freddie Mercury for vocals. Many and varied influences from listening to records. My parents had me choosing a record every week from age 3 onwards and then bought me all the early Beatles, Rolling Stones and Beach Boys albums as they came out! (that was cool parenting for the times) So from the pre Beatles era to best of 80s rock and beyond, I reckon Im lucky to have caught all of the best of it as it happened! As for what's happening presently, well, I wont even go there!

Fender Jazz (passive).Status Empathy 4 String Tuned B - D OR normal E - G (Headstock Model). A Fretless Washburn which I havent used since I turned out for the local cricket team (ya bass). Alembic tube preamp. Amcron poweramp. Choice of basscabs. Line 6 175 combo. Electrovoice PA (MAINLY FOR VOCALS). Spirit desk. Lexicon pa effects. Other bits of hardware lying idle too.
