Hi I am a young 40 yr old bass and acoustic guitar player, l would like to meet other musicians to just jam and write songs together. I like indie music, some rock, also electronic production and soundtrack /programmed music. My style is playing very funky, melodic classic bass playing, which fits in with all sorts of music and gives a very good groove to any tune. Like the bass to sing. I also play acoustic guitar which I use to write music. In addition I also dabble in keyboards and digital recording.
Been in a number of bands from heavy metal to dance, indie, acid jazz.
I have had a recording and management contract in the past for my own band but we broke up as most do when you are young and dont realise what you have got. One notable band I played bass for for over two years was Hugh Reed and Velvet underpants. Cult indie/rock band well known and we toured the UK and supported some big bands.

Influences
Most quality indie bands killers, chillies, rem,primal scream, OCS etc and also electric/dance music. I also like 60's/70's era bands beatles stones etc and throw in a bit of country/folk rootsy guitar etc.
Like vocal music and harmonies.
