We are Jim & Helen, we met in a band a couple of years ago.
Helen plays bass and sings and I play guitar (mainly rhythm) and sing, We have a lot of original material and are constantly writing more.
We're looking for a lead guitarist, a drummer, and a keyboardist.
We have a pretty wide array of influences, we try to write strong songs with good hooks, strong melodies and interesting subject matter. We try to incorporate a wide range of styles into our music, predominantly country and folk but at the core we think our songs are really just pop songs.

Influences
At a glance, we take a lot from alternative 90's bands like Teenage Fanclub, The Lemonheads, etc
We're also heavily influenced by artists like Big Star, Neil Young & The Byrds.
This is just a small snapshot to get a flavour for what kind of sound we're going for really. We don't particularly regard influence to be a massive factor over all though.
