I have had many years experience working in music and other performing arts - trained as an actor and work in drama/performing arts education. My interests in musical genre are broad, so it's a shame we're only limited to up to 4 in the form above! Currently playing keyboards in a Soul/Motown cover band, but am looking to play other music as well. Available to dep if needed. Have previously played (bass) in an Alternative (original) band - London circuit + National tours, 80s cover band (bass), 50'/60s Rock n Roll cover band (keys), classic rock band (keys), mixed-genre rock cover band (keys), motown/stax raw-soul cover band (keys), original material band (bass and keys) and worked in a major London music venue. Absolutely reliable and committed, and a good team-player, I'm looking for at least a reasonably busy band to join. I'd happily tour, but would prefer, if possible, rehearsals to be somewhere Nottingham/Notts area.
Am available as keyboard or bass guitar player. OK for playing cover-versions or original material. I can write songs + enjoy being creative with arrangements (where appropriate!). Also play 6/12-string guitars.

Music with integrity and energy. Also interested in the 'live' presentation of bands - feel it adds so much to the audiences' experience, and can put some bands ahead of the competition .

I quite regularly go to see live bands - recently these have included: The Blockheads / ELO / Dandy Warhols / The Waterboys / David Byrne / Richard Thompson / The Selector / The Specials / The Stranglers / Alicia Keys / Caro Emerald / Bruno Mars / Paul Weller / Allman Brothers Band Project / Marcus Miller + Stanley Clarke / Jools Holland / Squeeze / The Beat ...and many others.
