I'm 19, living in Dundee.

I'm looking to form a band, in the genre of Rock/Metal/Gothic/Industrial genres - basically an experimental band. I want to make a success with the band, if manage to get one together.

Within a year from now, I hope to have managed to find people who are wanting to form a band, and get the band together, with confirmed members, and for us to start getting to know each other and brainstorm ideas that we can use for the band. I also intend for the band to play both covers and original material.

I'm spending this year improving my vocal abilities, through a vocal tutor. I also intend to spend this year writing lyrics, and creating a portfolio of art.

I'm interested in having a female vocalist in the band, as well, as it would add something extra. It would not be like Nightwish, or Within Temptation, as the female is lead singer in those bands. The vocals would be split between myself and female vocalist, if we had one in the band...though it's not necessity, but would be cool.

I have a job but work evenings 5.30-10.30 but am available during days but that could be subject to change at any time if I am accepted for a new contract. At teh moment im available more during the day weekdays, and alday/night on Sundays & Wednesdays. However,despite the odd working hours, I would be committed, 220% to trying to get a band together and start it up...

I went to Download Festoval 2007 at Donington Park and it was amazing. This was the first festival I've eveer been to and is one of my many inspirations for forming a band, after seeing certain band/musicians playing live.
