Hi,
I'm 34 years old and have only had a band for a few months as a teen girl. I was the vocalist and we played popular brazilian songs (called MPB in Brazil). I've always loved the power of music but was never encouraged to embrace it. Now, years later, I've decided to try, learn and have fun. I have zero experience, so it probably makes sense to "team up" with someone also willing to just learn together. I just want music back into my life!

Influences
I grew up listening to American R&B and Soul singers such as Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Etta James etc
Today I listen to jazz with a twist...usually with electronic infused like "Love is a Bitch", hip-hop & soul tinged with a bit of Jazz like "Love me better" and a a lot of "modern brazilian hip hop ("Me leva", "Esse choro é blues")
