I'm working on a new project and we're looking for a singer and lyric writer to join our band, or multiple singers to collaborate with.
People have said the music sounds similar to Massive Attack, Portishead, Radiohead, Oceansize, Cinematic Orchestra. It's a blend electronics (MPC drum loops/samples, synths, effects) with real instruments - processed drums, piano, fender Rhodes, guitars, percussion.
We have a lot of ideas and a few songs near completion. We have access to some amazing studios either free or very cheap. The current lineup consists of an insanely good drummer, an exceptional guitarist/bassist/drummer and myself on keys/piano, guitar and recording/production. We're all mid-20s.
Bonus points if you play an instrument, but we're mainly after a singer (or several) to feature on a few songs - someone who can not only sing well but write/co-write lyrics, melodies and harmonies and someone who isn't afraid to speak their mind.
We'll be finalising tracks towards the end of the summer with a view to putting a record out later this year. We've been working at this for over 2 years now and it's coming along really well. Get in touch with a demo if you want to know more!
