I'm a lead and rhythm guitarist (have also played bass) looking to start a band with sort of country roots but open to all sorts of influences and instruments but with the underlying idea of creating infectious music. Emphasis on a good groove (which can apply to slow tunes too), good vocal harmonies and enjoying it all. Not into "loud and fast is better"

Influences
Where to start?. Um...JJ cale, Mark Knopfler, various country people like Glen Campbell, Alison Krauss... However I also like gentle reggae (Lee Perry, loads of others). In fact there's music I like in just about every genre, it's more about the individual songs and arrangements than anything else
