And the evolution continues. Now as the ROCKFELLERS concept moves into its 3rd year, founder and producer Elias Wasp moves into excitingly unkown waters. with the advent of HONEY GRABBER, Elias and collaborator Al Bee (vocals) have moved to a deliciously rich and funky pop sound. From the moody soulfulness of their debut track "Can't do this" to the unapologetically summertime pop sound of " Beautiful Town" and the quirky slacker funk of "Lazy" HONEY GRABBER have hit a prolific groove........................................................ Brighton residents both, Elias and Alistair have found a sweet balance. Elias' funky crafted tunes are accompanied perfectly by Al's sharp lyrics and distinctively warm voice. Both El & Al have been surprised by their productivity, and since early 06 have banged out seven tunes. They are looking to have an albums worth of a grade material by the time the leaves start turning brown. For Al Bee the experience has been exhilerating. "It's just been ace. I've always dug what Elias has done, and to start putting forward my own ideas and hearing what Elias' production can do with them is just f***ing amazing." Really different from a lot of pretentious and frankly tedious modern music, these good old time boys are turning out really great modern pop songs in vintage format. It is up to you!
