Lead geetar player, 43 years of age, played in a variety of bands over the years. Gigged at some of N. Irelands top venues including the Spring & Airbrake, Empire (upstairs), Diamond Rock Bar etc.

I'm putting together a new blues / rock band and I'm sick and tired of coming across timewasters...people that don't have transport / people that turn up to a rehersal without bothering to learn the songs / people that need mom and dad for lifts or expect other band members to play The Belfast Taxi Co. / people that have stage presence equivalent to a 2012 Amy Winehouse.

I'm looking for a good singer and bass player (have drummer sorted). You NEED to KNOW and be able to play / sing the Blues with passion, balls and feeling. You NEED to be committed into practicing in Belfast once a week in an evening. You need to have aspirations of getting into a studio and doing a single / EP (at least) down the line. You absolutely need to have no over-inflated ego issues : if you like self-promotion and telling everyone how some hack journalist thinks you're "Northern Irelands version of God Almighty" then don't bother wasting both our times...I've no time for ego or band politics. If we are a 4 piece then we have 25% say in every decision - end of story.

I've a wicked sense of humour and I'm very easy-going...I just hate time wasters. If you're as passionate and dedicated as me, then we'll have a blast.

PS - drug takers or people that want to play have p***ed stay at home....only idiots or egos try and play drunk.
