*note profile says carlisle as location due to limitations of bandmix software - we are actually based in Whitehaven! * Rock based covers band, doing gigs in and around west cumbria with a view to moving further afield. Need a solid roadie to help hump the gear around and setup/breakdown the set to our spec. Must have driving licence and capability of driving car with our quite large band trailer Think small caravan size!), we will cover insurance costs. Can't afford a lot but like someone to be involved with the show hitting the odd switch on cue and be prepared to learn some of the technical aspects such as sound and light checks. Must have a good sense of humour and an ability to work on own initiative. Will pay on a per gig basis either fixed sum or % of gig fee subject to discussion with the right person.Experience not necessary as we will help with training but it would help if anyone contacting has a good idea of a band on the road and the time and effort demands placed on us all!

Steve on Bass/backing & occasional vocal & , Jim - drums and loud things, Gaz on lead guitar and pick of destiny. All experienced musicians . Getting great feedback and rebookings wherever we go.
EQUIPMENT
600w per channel powered mixer with a backup mixer and 2400w power amp, carlsbro tops and bass bins 800w each, pair RSD twin tops and stands as backup, mic stand powered monitors, band have own individual mics/instruments/stands, dedicated practice space at no cost, usually practice at volume etc,currently sourcing stage banner, have stage and FOH lighting and various effects, marshall MB450 bass stack and marshall jcm 2000 head and 4 x 12 cab, yamaha 5 piece kit plus the usual noisemaking stuff, home studio and digital recording facility, wired/wireless monitoring etc
