Bass Player to a good standard required who loves the 'classics' and 'Moderns' to! (band name is NOT classic rox..that's just screen name!)

Existing Classic Rock/Modern Rock influenced band, all the hits, all the classics done to a very good standard.

Playing covers in pubs/clubs/beer festivals around the Norfolk area.

Ideally aged between 30-50 and live within 10 miles of Norwich or so. We are Drums, Vocals, Guitar's .We are all ex-well known cover band members, from different bands coming together to do a brand new venture focussing mainly on the 'classic' hits of the 70's 80's, think bands like AC/DC, Rainbow, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, The Who, Led Zepp, Queen, Bad Company etc etc. but we'll also have room for slightly more modern stuff like, G 'n' R, Velvet Revolver, Airbourne, The Cult etc. No Grunge, Death Metal, Hair Metal or Indie Rock (well some..Stereophonics, KOL, Foo's etc..) just rock songs that everyone knows and done as they should be...loudly!

Aiming to put together a seriously top notch band to rival the best of the best out there, we all play top of the range gear and will be looking to put on a really good live show ie: decent lighting, stage craft, sound etc.

This won't be a 'side band' and in reality are looking for someone who will commit to being in one band. This will take effort, commitment and enthusiasm, but you will be in at the beginning as this is a new venture so you won't feel like a new boy/girl more part of something that grows from the start, which is always better than joining an existing band!

What we need is:

1) Someone aged between 30 - 50 who can actually play bass!!

2) Someone who really has a passion for this type of music ie: classic rock/modern rock

3) Someone who can rehearse once a week and gig approx twice a month (depending on bookings etc)

4) Someone who is genuine, committed and is an easy going type of person (as we all are)

5) Someone who wants to join in with 'band work' and all things band related.

What we offer is:

An almost ready to go band full of enthusiastic people who are really easy to get on with, know what to do and how to do it, have great contacts at the best venu's in Norfolk (no more rainy Tuesday night gigs), pro gear, own rehearsal space if needed, and who all want to do exactly the same thing as you...put on a show and play great gigs.
