Band to Join, Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums.ABOUT
Hi there. My name is Jez. I am an experienced guitarist looking to form or join a thrash (or death) metal / punk/ hardcore / grindcore-type band in the Fife, Perthshire or Dundee area (Edinburgh and Glasgow at a push). I am a proficient guitarist with many years experience of playing within these genres. I am a real fan of fast heavy music and am looking to join or form a band playing within these styles. My own individual style is a mixture of shredding / grinding, combined with fast-fretted leads and plenty of low end grunt (using heavy gauges).
Ideally, I'd like to join an existing band, but happy also just with bass and drums if it's a start-up situation. I'm not looking for anything too serious in the first instance, but interested to see where this goes.

All the usual heroes - Dismember, Slayer, Discharge, Nasum, Wolf Brigade, Rotten Sound, (early) Entombed...(and Swedish death metal in general), Morbid Angel, Napalm Death etc...but also...Bad Religion, NoFX, Larm, Pennywise, Offenders, Bad Brains, Siege, DRI etc etc...and even Crass, Antisect, Omega Tribe, Plasmatics, Flux.!
