We're currently looking to add a member to our band. We're currently a 4 piece (acoustic guitar+vox/lead guitar+bvs/bass/drums, and we're after someone who can do some vocal harmonies and play keyboards - mainly piano and organ sounds.
Our influences include Bright Eyes, Ryan Adams, The Head and the Heart, Frightened Rabbit, Death Cab, The Shins, Admiral Fallow, Three Blind Wolves.. - basically interesting but gentle stuff.
You can check out some recent demo recordings on our website (http://goodmovesband.co.uk), all of which have some organ on. We're currently in the midst of doing some more recordings, which have bits and pieces of organ and piano on, and we'd like more of it!
We've got tons of ideas knocking around, we're all competent on our instruments, have decent gear and transport, and a place to practice in Brighouse. Songwriting tends to be a fluid, collaborative sort of process for us, so there won't be parts dictated to you and you'll have relative freedom. Our lead guitarist plays piano pretty well but prefers guitar, so we have some parts already written, but if you have ideas of your own that would be cool too.
If we can't find a person to do both things, then we might well be interested in people who can do one or the other.
