55yrs old, looking for someone in similar situation. Started playing about 10yrs ago I can play a lot of stuff from some lead and slide guitar in both standard and open tunings to rhythm and accoustic guitar.I sing a bit as well.

Starting to play so late in life I feel a bit insecure around people my age who have been playing in bands etc for most of their lives and at the same time feel a bit out of place with teens and twenty somethings at the same level as myself.

Having never played in a band before I would ideally like to find someone in the same situation and practice together with a view to playing at open mic nights etc.

Influences:

Everything from the Allmans to Zappa. I can play various numbers by Bob Dylan,Eric Clapton,John Hiatt,Little Feat,Frankie Miller,Bessie Smith,The Shadows,Muddy Waters,Fleetwood Mac and various others.
