Gill Lancashire is a freelance drummer and tutor from Southampton, having graduated from The Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford in August 2015 with 1st Class Honours in Music Performance, specialising in drums. Gill fell in love with drums after watching The Who live in her early teens at the local cricket ground and has never looked back. From taking part in school concerts in percussion ensembles, to then working in both original and function bands for the past 12 years she has a lot of live experience to offer as well as great people and team skills. Under the supervision of her tutors she has successfully completed the Diploma, Higher Diploma and Degree course in Music Performance. She is currently playing with her alternative rock project Reawaken across England, with tours and an EP due to be released towards the middle of the year. Currently taking on new drum students of all ages and abilities in the Hampshire area. I have my own drum studio which is set up for both online lessons and recording for artists. I'm currently looking for a function band to join in the Hampshire area.
