## Been away for a few years, currently in the process of updating my profile a little / Moving to Hebden Bridge late October 2021 ##

My name is Gareth, I am looking for a new venture, either by joining a band in need of a drummer, or by teaming up with a new guitarist / bassist / vocalist, to work on original material, for recording / gigging / social hobby, I am not opposed to cover versions at all.

The video & audio clips on here are from my time with two bands, which were mostly guitar / distortion / alt rock driven, which I do love, but always happy to mix things up more, with other elements, sounds & styles from the other bands & artists listed in my influences.

Also, these pictures of my kit are the full set up that I used for that band (Plus the mini kit too), and doesn't always have to be that full for different projects / occasions / gigs.

I am not a drummer who just wants to hit everything as hard, and as loud as I can; I tend to link into a songs feel / vibe / energy, and play slow & soft, as well as hard & fast when necessary.

I have played in a band since 2002, when I got my first kit, and have played many gigs over the years, in the Southend Essex area, then more recently ('17-'19) many gigs on the London scene with The Slow Cooked Bears
I am by no means a full on singer songwriter, but from time to time I am able to contribute with the odd song here and there, bass lines, guitar parts (for the real guitarist & bassist to then build upon), and lyrics.

As you can see from my pictures, I have all of my own drum kit equipment, and transport by means of my car.
