I'm looking for musicians aged 20-40 to help me start a new originals project in London playing a mix of funk/soul-based music but not being afraid to take influences from a range of other genres too.
You must have your own equipment and be able to rehearse at least one evening a week to begin with. Any ability to write/co-write songs would be beneficial.
In return, you'll have a chance to have a large say in the direction of an awesome new 8-piece band. I want to challenge and push all band members and creating a mix of locked-tight songs, but with many large improvised sections where we can really let loose and introduce jazz flavours.
